Printing oil can be divided into pigments and dyes according to its main components, and pigments can be divided into inorganic pigments and organic pigments. Organic pigments are insoluble in water, so organic pigments are the preferred material for printing.

Oil printing can be divided into oil printing, alcohol printing and water-based printing. Oil printing is mainly composed of hydrocarbon solvents. Because of its good weather resistance, oil printing is widely used.

Printing media can be divided into metal material special printing, ceramic special printing, food special printing, glass special printing, textile material special printing and so on.

The mud used for seal cutting is mainly made of mugwort fiber, cinnabar and castor oil, and these materials can only be made through fine processing.
